Mobile food market volunteer shift with We Don't Waste — Friday
Help run a free outdoor food market with We Don't Waste, distributing rescued groceries to Denver families on a Friday morning, 9am–noon MDT. All ages welcome.
Why we picked this
The rotating location is part of what makes this work interesting — the same three-hour shift shows up in a new Denver neighborhood each week, reaching people where they are.
Every Friday, We Don’t Waste brings a free mobile market to a Denver neighborhood, distributing rescued produce and groceries to families who need them. Volunteers arrive at 9am to set up, sort food, and staff the distribution tables through the end of the shift around noon.
Because markets rotate locations, the community you serve changes week to week — check the Volunteer Matters portal for the September 18th address when you register. Spanish-speaking volunteers are especially welcomed. All ages are welcome and no experience is needed; groups can sign up together.
Comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate layers are all you need to bring.
