Mobile food market volunteer shift with We Don't Waste — Friday
Staff an outdoor food distribution pop-up across Denver on Fridays. Set up stations, help families shop, and break down by noon. Spanish speakers welcome.
Why we picked this
A Friday morning food market in a Denver neighborhood — set up, help families find what they need, tear down by noon. The location rotates weekly; Spanish speakers are especially helpful at check-in.
We Don’t Waste’s Mobile Food Markets bring fresh food directly to neighborhoods across the Denver metro area twice a week. As a volunteer, you’ll help set up the market layout, staff food stations, assist families as they move through the market, and break everything down by noon. The work is outdoors and on your feet for the full shift.
Markets rotate to different locations week to week — the specific address for your shift is listed in the Volunteer Matters portal when you sign up. Spanish-speaking volunteers are especially useful at check-in, though it’s not a requirement. Individual sign-ups only for this program; this is not a group volunteer opportunity.
Register through the Volunteer Matters link above (a free account is required). Markets run approximately 9am–noon on Tuesdays and Fridays.
