Why we picked this

A weekly outdoor food market that rotates through different Denver neighborhoods — set up stations, help families find what they need, tear down by noon. Spanish speakers are especially helpful at check-in.

We Don’t Waste’s Mobile Food Markets are outdoor distribution events that bring fresh food directly to neighborhoods across the Denver metro area. Volunteers help set up the market layout, staff food stations, assist families as they move through the market, load bags, and break everything down by noon. Markets run on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The markets rotate to different locations week to week — specific addresses are listed in the shift details on the Volunteer Matters portal. Spanish-speaking volunteers are especially useful at check-in, where they can communicate with families more comfortably. The work is outdoor and on your feet.

Register through the Volunteer Matters portal (a free account is required). Markets run approximately 9am–noon. Individual sign-ups only for this program.
