This full-day training (June 6, 8 AM–4 PM) gives participants the knowledge to identify, inventory, map, and treat noxious weeds on public lands in Colorado. The curriculum covers species-specific treatment protocols, how to distinguish target weeds from similar-looking native plants, and field survey methods using standardized data collection. The training takes place outdoors near Evergreen — bring lunch, snacks, and water.
Only three spots remain as of late May 2026. Register by June 3. The session is free and open to ages 14 and older. VOC rarely cancels due to weather but will notify registrants if conditions become unsafe. A 2026 liability waiver is required. Not wheelchair accessible.
