Volunteers plant vegetable gardens at Harvard Gulch Park in Denver’s Platt Park neighborhood, working alongside Grow Local Colorado staff. The session covers which vegetables are being planted and where they grow best. Harvested produce goes to local food banks, shelters, and families in need.
Ages 8 and up are welcome — youth under 16 need to come with an adult 21 or older. Participants may receive seeds or seedlings to take home while supplies last. Register through the VOC portal; registration deadline is May 27.
