The Learning Source runs ESL and GED/high school equivalency classes for adult learners across the Denver metro area, and volunteer tutors are the backbone of the program. You’ll assist teachers with one-on-one instruction and small group work — no prior teaching experience required.
Sessions run Monday through Thursday with both daytime and evening options. Each shift is about 2.5 hours, once per week, for a 13-17 week semester. The spring semester runs January through May 2026, and the summer session picks up in July. New volunteers complete an online orientation module and then attend a content-specific training (in-person or online).
