Jefferson County Open Space marks National Trails Day with a volunteer event focused on trail maintenance and restoration across the county’s parks. Meet at the Open Space Welcome Center in Golden at 8:30 AM for check-in and assignment to a crew.
Jeffco manages over 200 miles of trails used by hikers, mountain bikers, and runners throughout the year. This event is a chance to work directly on that infrastructure alongside experienced trail crews. Ages 18 and up. Register through Offero.
Wear layers, sturdy shoes, and bring water. Tools are provided. The Welcome Center is at 700 Jefferson County Pkwy in Golden — parking on site.
