Why we picked this
The October Red Rocks cleanup falls on Halloween — a crisp morning in the open space with some of the best fall views on the Front Range.
Friends of Red Rocks gathers the last Saturday of every month for trail maintenance and invasive plant removal at Red Rocks Park open space. October 31 is the late-fall edition — two to three hours of outdoor work in peak fall color with some of the best views the Front Range offers.
October cleanup is a favorite with regulars: the temperatures are ideal for physical outdoor work, the crowds are down, and the landscape is visually striking. Meet at the Upper North Lot at 9:30 AM. All gear provided. Register through Volgistics.
New volunteers sign two short waivers at check-in. All ages welcome with adult supervision for younger volunteers.
