Why we picked this

July at Red Rocks is early morning before the heat builds — meet at the Upper North Lot at 9:30 for two hours of trail work, then the rest of the Saturday is yours.

Friends of Red Rocks gathers the last Saturday of every month for trail maintenance and invasive plant removal at Red Rocks Park open space. The July cleanup runs the same as always: meet at the Upper North Lot at 9:30 AM and work for two to three hours. In July, starting at 9:30 means wrapping up before the midday heat arrives.

Invasive plants are well-established by mid-summer and the removal work has real ecological impact. Bring water and sun protection — July mornings at Red Rocks can be warm. Gloves, vests, bags, and pickers provided. Register through Volgistics.

New volunteers sign two short waivers at check-in. All ages welcome with adult supervision.
