Why we picked this
Three hours sorting and packing in a busy warehouse where you can see the conveyor belts moving food toward neighbors who need it. Groups up to 30 welcome.
Food Bank of the Rockies runs one of the largest food distribution operations in the region from their Aurora facility. On a morning shift, you’ll sort donated food, pack boxes, and move product along the warehouse floor — physical work with visible results. Shifts run from 8:45am to noon, Monday through Saturday, with up to 30 volunteers per morning session.
Pre-registration is required — no walk-ins. Sign up through the VolunteerHub link above and arrive at least 15 minutes early. Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes. Ages 10 and up are welcome; anyone under 16 must come with an adult.
