The Food Bank of the Rockies welcomes groups of 5 or more for dedicated volunteer blocks at the Aurora distribution center. Morning shifts (8:45am–noon) accommodate up to 30 volunteers; afternoon shifts (1–4pm) fit up to 20. Your group will sort, pack, and process donated food alongside the regular volunteer crew.
To book, submit a group request through the link above rather than registering through the standard VolunteerHub portal — the Food Bank team will send you an official registration link once your slot is confirmed. Groups with minors (ages 10–15) should plan for a 1:5 adult-to-youth ratio.
Schools, corporate teams, civic organizations, and faith groups all use this program regularly. Closed-toe shoes required for everyone. The facility is at 20600 E 38th Ave in Aurora with on-site parking.
