Morning warehouse shift at Food Bank of the Rockies
Sort and pack donated food at the Aurora warehouse. Help feed Colorado families — no experience needed, just closed-toe shoes and a willingness to work.
Why we picked this
One of the most direct ways to fight hunger in the Denver metro — every shift you pack moves food to families across Colorado.
Volunteers sort and pack donated food alongside Food Bank of the Rockies staff at their Aurora distribution center. Morning shifts run from 8:45 AM to noon, Monday through Saturday. No prior experience is needed — staff assign tasks when you arrive and keep things moving.
Wear closed-toe shoes and warehouse-appropriate clothing (covered shoulders and midriff). Arrive a few minutes early to check in. The facility can accommodate up to 30 volunteers per morning shift, so this is a great option for families, friend groups, or small corporate teams.
Volunteers must be at least 10 years old; those under 16 need an accompanying adult. Walk-ins are not accepted — register in advance through the VolunteerHub portal.
