Why we picked this

Volunteer support for DUG's wild fermentation workshop — help participants learn to make probiotic sodas and fermented beverages at home. A hands-on evening session at Posner Center.

Denver Urban Gardens’ Wild Sodas workshop introduces participants to fermented beverage-making — how to use wild fermentation to create probiotic sodas and other drinks at home from seasonal ingredients. Volunteer supporters help run the session, assist with setup, and support participants during the hands-on portions.

The workshop runs in the evening (6:00 PM) on June 25 at Posner Center. All ages welcome to volunteer. Familiarity with fermentation is helpful but not required.

Food preservation and fermentation workshops are part of DUG’s broader mission to build food literacy and access in Denver communities. Posner Center is a community hub in central Denver that hosts a range of food and culture programs.
