2nd Saturday workday at Wild Sage Community Garden — Jun 13
Help weed, haul, and maintain Wild Sage Community Garden on Denver's east side. Monthly Saturday morning workday with the East Central Endive garden crew.
Why we picked this
A 3-hour Saturday workday at Wild Sage — weeding and light hauling with Denver Urban Gardens' east central crew. Good for anyone who wants to get their hands in the soil without a long-term commitment.
Wild Sage Community Garden holds its monthly 2nd Saturday workday in June — three hours of weeding, light hauling, and general garden upkeep with the East Central Endive program. The work changes with the season; in June expect weed management and early summer maintenance tasks.
Volunteers work alongside DUG staff and other community members. No garden experience needed. Bring gloves, sunscreen, and water for the morning. Up to 15 volunteers are welcome.
Wild Sage is part of Denver Urban Gardens’ network of community growing spaces across Denver. The 2nd Saturday workday series runs throughout the season for anyone who wants a reliable monthly volunteer slot.
