Build a therapeutic garden pathway at Sabin School
Help construct a pathway in Denver Urban Gardens' new therapeutic garden space at Sabin School Community Garden. Twenty volunteer spots.
Why we picked this
Twenty spots to help build a pathway in a brand-new therapeutic garden space β the kind of project where you can point at it later and say you helped make that.
Denver Urban Gardens is building out a new therapeutic garden space at Sabin School Community Garden, and the March 18 workday is focused on constructing a pathway. Youβll work alongside DUG staff from 9:00 AM to noon at 3050 S Vrain Street doing hands-on landscape construction.
Twenty volunteer spots are available, and registration closes March 17. No construction experience required β DUG provides the tools and direction. Wear clothes that can get dirty and sturdy closed-toe shoes.
DUG runs 180+ community gardens across Denver and hosts workdays throughout the growing season. This one is special because therapeutic gardens are designed for accessibility and sensory engagement, so the pathway youβre building will serve gardeners of all abilities.
