Volunteers help complete a sensory barefoot pathway at Rose Roots Community Garden — a 15x15 space designed for tactile exploration. The May 17 workday finishes the path with flagstone sections, tree trunk stepping rounds, painted rocks, plantings along the edges, and mulch throughout.
There’s a range of tasks available to match different physical abilities and interests. Eleven volunteer spots open. Closed-toe shoes required for the work, even though the finished path is for bare feet. Tools and materials provided.
