Support bilingual youth garden class at Responsive Arts & STEAM Academy
Assist DUG educators with the Bilingual Garden of Wonder program for young children. Facilitate hands-on activity station rotations. Spanish preferred but not required.
Why we picked this
Spend an afternoon helping kids rotate through hands-on garden activity stations — this is structured, educator-led, and you'll be facilitating, not teaching from scratch.
Denver Urban Gardens’ Bilingual Garden of Wonder program brings garden-based learning to elementary classrooms across Denver. Volunteers join a DUG Youth Educator to help facilitate — after a brief introduction, students rotate through three activity stations where you’ll guide small groups through hands-on tasks.
Spanish language skills are preferred for this location but not required. You’ll be supporting an educator, not leading independently. Comfortable clothes are fine; this is an indoor school setting. Arrive on time since the class follows a tight schedule.
The school is at 19201 E 62nd Ave in far northeast Denver. Register through the DUG volunteer portal; they’ll share parking and check-in details before the event.
