Why we picked this
A morning of real physical work β digging, mulching, laying crusher fine β to make a community food forest accessible to everyone. Snacks and tools included.
Denver Urban Gardens is building a wheelchair-accessible pathway through the Kepner Food Forest, and this workday is where it gets done. Volunteers will dig, mulch, and lay crusher fine to create a stable, navigable surface through the garden. The work is physical and rewarding β youβll see the path take shape over the course of the morning.
Wear closed-toe shoes and layers you donβt mind getting dirty. DUG provides tools, materials, snacks, and water. No construction experience required β staff will direct the work throughout the day.
