Garden workday at Glenbrook Community Garden
Help build and prep Glenbrook Community Garden for the growing season. Plot construction, soil amendments, and pathway work with DUG staff. Friday April 17, 9 AM–noon.
Why we picked this
A Friday morning of physical garden prep — building plots, amending soil, and laying pathways so this community garden is ready for planting season.
DUG staff will lead volunteers through plot construction, soil amendment, and pathway work at Glenbrook Community Garden on Friday morning, April 17. The work helps get the garden ready for the growing season — nine volunteer spots are available, and no gardening experience is required.
The shift runs 9 AM to noon. Wear clothes you can get dirty and bring work gloves if you have them. Tools are provided. This is part of DUG’s Southwest Sugar Snap Peas program, which develops community garden spaces across southwest Denver.
