Why we picked this

The after-work version of DUG's composting workshop — same hands-on format, 5:30pm start for people who can't make a morning event. A morning option is also available on June 6.

Denver Urban Gardens hosts composting workshops at Gove Community Garden throughout the season. This June 18 evening session runs 5:30–7:30pm and is designed for participants who can’t make a morning event — it covers the same practical content: what goes into a pile, how to manage it, and when compost is ready.

The workshop is held outdoors at the garden. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. No prior composting experience needed. If the June 18 evening doesn’t work, a morning session is available on June 6 at the same location.

Gove Community Garden is a Denver Urban Gardens site; the full address is available through the DUG events calendar at dug.org/events/.
