Denver Audubon leads a guided bird walk through Aurora Water’s water-wise demonstration garden, a 10-acre space showing how native Colorado plants can create wildlife habitat while using far less water. May is an active migration period, so you’re likely to find resident birds alongside species moving through the corridor.
The walk is free and open to all skill levels. The garden is at 15151 E Alameda Pkwy in Aurora. Bring binoculars if you have them; the naturalist guide will help identify what you find.
