Geosapiens: The Earthwise Human — free talk with Martin Ogle
Free talk exploring humanity's relationship with the natural world, presented by naturalist Martin Ogle at Kingery Nature Center. Oct 24, 1–2:30 PM MDT.
Why we picked this
Naturalist Martin Ogle takes the wider view here — less about identifying species and more about how humans fit into the ecosystems we spend most walks observing from the outside.
Naturalist Martin Ogle presents “Geosapiens: The Earthwise Human,” a talk exploring humanity’s place within, rather than apart from, the natural world. It’s a broader ecological framing than the species-focused walks and talks that make up most of Denver Audubon’s programming.
The talk runs 90 minutes with time for audience discussion afterward, making it a good fit for anyone interested in the bigger-picture thinking behind conservation work, not just field identification skills.
Free to attend, with a $5 suggested donation. The talk runs 1 to 2:30 PM at Kingery Nature Center, 11280 Waterton Rd. in Littleton.
