Why we picked this
A low-effort way to stay connected to the birding community between walks — no binoculars, no early alarm, just a book and a screen.
Beaks and Books is Denver Audubon’s recurring virtual book club, gathering members over Zoom to discuss a bird- or nature-related title each month. Discussion is casual and open — you don’t need to have finished the book to join in.
It’s a good option for anyone who enjoys the birding community but can’t always make the early-morning walks, or who just wants a lower-key way to engage with the subject.
Free to attend. Check the Denver Audubon events page for the current book selection ahead of the meeting. The discussion runs starting at 7 PM.
