Volunteer at a Boys & Girls Club across metro Denver
Support after-school programming at one of 17 club locations — tutoring, activities, sports, and mentoring for neighborhood kids.
Why we picked this
Seventeen locations across the metro, after-school hours, and you pick what fits — tutoring, sports, arts, STEM, or just being a steady adult in a kid's afternoon.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver runs 17 club locations across Denver, Aurora, Westminster, Commerce City, Arvada, and Brighton. Volunteers support after-school programming in whatever area fits their interests: academic tutoring, arts, sports, STEM activities, life skills, or general mentoring. Groups of 5-20 can volunteer together for corporate or community team events.
The application process goes through quarterly windows — check the website for the current open period. Once accepted, you’ll have a conversation with a Club Director to find the right fit, then complete a background check plus FEMA and Mandated Reporter trainings. Note: court-ordered community service placements are not accepted.
Club locations include Cope (808 Inca St), Cole (1350 E. 33rd Ave), Owen (3480 W. Kentucky Ave), Johnson Elementary (1850 S. Irving St), Aurora Quest (17315 E 2nd Ave), and a dozen more.
