New volunteer orientation at Project Angel Heart — May 23
Required one-time orientation for new Project Angel Heart volunteers. Saturday morning, in-person or virtual. Unlocks kitchen, distribution, and delivery shifts.
Why we picked this
One Saturday morning is all it takes to unlock kitchen shifts, distribution days, and delivery routes — orientation runs an hour and you pick your own schedule after.
The Saturday orientation at Project Angel Heart is the one-time gateway to all the hands-on volunteer roles — kitchen shifts, Thursday distribution, and Friday delivery routes. It runs about an hour, covers how the organization works, what to expect on shift, and how to use the CERVIS scheduling portal.
Both in-person and virtual options are available. In-person orientation is held at 4925 Brighton Blvd in RiNo. After completing orientation, you book your own shifts whenever you like through the volunteer portal.
Register in advance through volunteer.projectangelheart.org. Same-day walkups aren’t guaranteed a spot.
