Distribution meal packing on Thursday mornings at Project Angel Heart
Pack and sort meals for distribution at Project Angel Heart's Denver kitchen. Thursday 9:00 AM–noon MDT. Orientation required; no other experience needed.
Why we picked this
The first Thursday distribution shift of November — sorting and labeling meal bags by route so Friday's drivers can just grab and go.
Thursday morning distribution shifts at Project Angel Heart are focused on staging meals for the week’s delivery routes. Volunteers sort, pack, and label completed meal bags, organizing deliveries by route so drivers can pick up and go on Friday morning. The shift runs from 9:00 AM to noon at the Brighton Blvd facility.
This is inside work — wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes. No food preparation experience is needed, but orientation is required before your first distribution shift. All volunteers receive task assignments at arrival.
Distribution is the link between the production kitchen and Friday delivery. If you’ve done kitchen shifts and want to see the other side of the operation, Thursday distribution is a natural next step.
