Distribution meal packing on Thursday mornings at Project Angel Heart
Help pack weekly meal deliveries for Denver clients with serious illness. Assembly-line work, 9:00 AM–noon MDT. Orientation required before first shift.
Why we picked this
Thursday distribution shifts run like clockwork — bags move down the line, get filled and sealed, and stack up fast. Three hours from 9:00 AM and the whole week's delivery is staged and ready.
Distribution packing runs Thursday mornings from 9:00 AM to noon. You’ll work through a well-organized assembly line, filling and sealing delivery bags with the meals prepared by the kitchen team. The bags you pack go straight to drivers the following morning for delivery to clients across the Denver metro area.
The work is physical and fast-paced. Closed-toe shoes are required, and all supplies are provided. Free parking is available on site at the Brighton Blvd location. If you’ve already done an orientation, you can book directly through the volunteer portal — if not, Saturday orientations run at 10:00 AM MDT (in-person and virtual).
Distribution packing is one of the most direct links in the delivery chain — the packed bags you finish on Thursday are in clients’ hands by Friday afternoon.
