Distribution meal packing on Thursday mornings at Project Angel Heart
Pack medically tailored meal bags for same-day delivery across Denver. Thursday mornings 9 AM–noon. Orientation required before first shift.
Why we picked this
Pack and label meal bags that get delivered the same morning to people managing cancer, HIV, and other serious illnesses. The work is straightforward; what you're helping extend is not.
Distribution shifts at Project Angel Heart involve packing and labeling meal bags that get handed off to drivers for same-day delivery. You’ll work alongside a small team in the kitchen area, loading coolers and checking routes. The work is physical and fast-paced during peak hours, then tapers off as the bags head out the door.
Shifts run Thursday mornings from 9:00 AM to noon at 4925 E. Kentucky Ave in Denver. Closed-toe shoes required. New volunteers must complete the free in-person orientation before their first distribution shift.
The meals you pack go to people who often can’t prepare food themselves — the lift you give is real and direct.
