Meal delivery driver with Project Angel Heart — Friday
Drive a route delivering medically tailored meals to Denver clients with serious illness. Friday mornings, 9:30 AM–noon MDT. Orientation required.
Why we picked this
You pick up a packed route from the Brighton Blvd facility and drive it yourself — typically 8–12 stops. Most clients won't answer the door, but when they do, that's the whole point.
Delivery drivers pick up pre-packed meal bags from the Brighton Blvd facility on Friday mornings and drive an assigned route to clients’ homes across the Denver area. Shifts run 9:30 AM to noon. You’ll need a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and a phone for navigation. Project Angel Heart provides the route details and all bags are ready when you arrive.
Most deliveries are contactless — you leave the bags at the door — but some clients will be there to meet you, and those interactions are often the most meaningful part of the shift. Routes typically run 8–12 stops and cover a defined section of the metro area.
A one-time orientation is required before your first delivery shift, available Saturdays at 10:00 AM MDT in-person or virtually. Once cleared, you can sign up for any available Friday delivery slot through the volunteer portal.
