Meal delivery driver with Project Angel Heart — Friday
Drive your own vehicle on a Friday morning route delivering medically tailored meals to homebound Denver neighbors with serious illness. License required.
Why we picked this
You pick up a box of meals at Brighton Blvd, drive a route, knock on doors, and hand meals directly to people who can't easily leave home. Two hours on a Friday morning.
Delivery drivers pick up a box of medically tailored meals at Project Angel Heart’s Brighton Blvd facility and drive a designated route to deliver them to clients living with serious illness across the Denver metro. Routes cover 10 different regions and run Friday mornings, typically wrapping up by noon.
You’ll need a valid driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle. A one-time orientation is required before your first delivery shift — Saturday orientations run at 10am in person or virtually. After that, you sign up for specific Friday routes through the CERVIS portal.
This is one of the most direct volunteer roles available: you’re the last step between a meal and the person who needs it. The Brighton Blvd pickup location has on-site parking.
