Meal delivery driver with Project Angel Heart — Fridays
Deliver medically tailored meals by car to homebound Denver neighbors. Friday shifts run 9:30am–noon. Requires a personal vehicle and background check.
Why we picked this
You drive your own car and personally deliver meals to homebound neighbors — the most direct volunteer role at Angel Heart, finished by noon on Fridays.
Friday delivery drivers pick up a load of meals at the Brighton Blvd facility, then fan out across one of ten delivery regions in the Denver metro area to hand-deliver directly to clients living with serious illness. The shift runs from 9:30am to noon, putting you back home before lunch.
This is the role where the work is most personal — you’re the neighbor actually showing up at someone’s door. You’ll need a valid driver’s license, your own vehicle, and a completed background check before your first shift. The one-time orientation (Saturdays at 10am, in-person or virtual) covers everything you need to know before signing up for your first Friday.
Open delivery slots are available most Fridays through September 2026 across all ten delivery regions.
