Decorate meal bags for Project Angel Heart clients
Pick up plain meal bags, decorate them at home with markers or crayons, and return them. All ages, no orientation needed.
Why we picked this
The lowest-barrier volunteer gig we've found — pick up bags, decorate them at home with your kids, drop them back. No orientation, no background check, all ages.
Project Angel Heart sends medically tailored meals to people with life-threatening illnesses, and every meal goes in a bag. Those bags can either be plain brown paper or covered in cheerful artwork from volunteers. This is the second option.
Pick up blank bags from the Denver office at 4950 Washington Street (Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM-3:00 PM) or the Northern Colorado location. Take them home, decorate with crayons, markers, or colored pencils, and return them when you’re done. Four decorated bags count as one volunteer hour — good for K-12 service learning and workplace volunteer programs (not valid for court-ordered service).
No orientation required. No background check. No age minimum. This is a great option for families with young kids, classroom projects, or anyone who wants to contribute from home on their own schedule. Contact volunteer@projectangelheart.org or 303-830-0202 to arrange a pickup.
