Decorate meal bags for Project Angel Heart clients
Add handwritten notes and artwork to the meal bags delivered to seriously ill Denver clients. Tuesday shifts, no orientation required. Drop-in friendly.
Why we picked this
Fourth Tuesday of October bag decorating: the one Project Angel Heart shift that skips orientation requirements and works well for one-time volunteers.
Bag decorating volunteers add handwritten notes, drawings, and personal touches to the bags that hold medically tailored meal deliveries. These small additions are meaningful to clients who are seriously ill and often isolated — a handwritten note with a meal is a different thing than a plain bag.
No orientation is required for this role, making it the easiest entry point to Project Angel Heart volunteering. All ages are welcome, including families with children. Supplies are provided. Tuesday morning shifts are the standard schedule, though you should confirm via the portal.
This shift works especially well for groups, first-time visitors, or anyone who wants to contribute without the kitchen training requirement.
