Decorate meal bags for Project Angel Heart clients
Brighten the day of clients receiving medically tailored meals by decorating their delivery bags. No orientation required. Drop-in friendly.
Why we picked this
No orientation required — pick up a meal bag, add an encouraging message or drawing, and it gets packed with that week's delivery. Takes about an hour.
Meal bag decorating is one of Project Angel Heart’s no-orientation-required opportunities. You’ll pick up plain meal bags and spend an hour or so adding encouraging drawings, messages, or patterns — something small that the person receiving the meal will see when it arrives.
Bring your own markers or colored pencils, or use what’s available at the kitchen. Shifts are informal and can accommodate a range of ages. The kitchen is at 4925 E. Kentucky Ave in Denver.
Project Angel Heart delivers meals to over 2,000 clients each week. The decorated bags are a small addition to what’s inside, but clients notice them.
